The participation in the European Union-African Union Summit, which will take place at the end of November in Abidjan, is not a modification to the European position of non-recognition of the so-called RASD, writes Wednesday "Jeune Afrique", citing one of the spokepersons of the European Commission.

The international community also does not recognize this entity, the magazine said in an article published on its website about the EU-AU summit, stressing that "there is no question for Morocco of practicing the policy of empty chair at African summits or even to be dragged into tactical combat- which may also place the friends of Morocco on the continent in a delicate position

According to the Council of the European Union, this fifth AU-EU summit to be held November 29-30 in the Ivorian capital, "will be a decisive date and opportunity to strengthen political and economic ties between the two continents".

At this summit, Africans and Europeans will look into the future of their relations and focus on investing in youth, the source added, noting that other priorities of the EU-Africa partnership will be discussed, including peace, security, governance, migration and mobility, investment and trade.
