Some 1,277 suspected cases of contamination with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab have been dismissed after negative results of analyzes carried out at the laboratory, announced Sunday the regional directorate of health (DRS).

These excluded cases are distributed between the provinces of Oued Eddahab (1,179) Aousserd (98) May 31 at 6:00 p.m., the DRS said in its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation in the region.
According to the same source, three patients are currently under medical supervision at the Hassan II Regional Hospital Center in Dakhla where they are treated according to the medical protocols their condition is “stable” and “ does not require any concern ”.


In addition to these cases, the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region registered two confirmed cases in April that had fully recovered.
