"As civil society associations, we are convinced of the justice and legitimacy of our first national cause and we condemn these maneuvers which are devoid of any juridical legality or international law basis, while supporting the right of the Kingdom to defending the whole of its territory from Tangier to Lagouira", underlined these civil society actors in statements following the meetings held Sunday in Dakhla.
The attempts to obstruct civil and commercial traffic and freedom of movement at the El Guerguerat border post as well as the announcement of the creation of a fake entity in Laâyoune are aimed at "creating a diversion from what is happening in the Tindouf camps, at the instigation of the Algerian regime, which represents a threat to international peace and security", they noted.
They underlined the need to support national efforts by strengthening communication through official channels and parallel institutions and bodies, in order to uphold national and human values and promote democratic and human rights achievements.
They also reiterated their "unconditional support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom", while voicing their pride in the historical belonging to Morocco and the Beia (allegiance) to HM King Mohammed VI, the guarantor of unity and stability of the Kingdom.
Civil society actors also reaffirmed their "total mobilization" in favor of defending the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, under the leadership of HM the King, calling for more vigilance to counter any attempt to harm the immutable and sacred values of the Moroccan Nation.
