 Dakar and Rabat say Sahara issue a threat to peace in sub-region  6/26/2013
Senegal and Morocco believe that the persistence of the Sahara is "a threat to peace and security in the region," said a statement released Monday in Dakar at the end of the 14th session of the Joint Commission for Senegalese Moroccan Cooperation.

A delegation from the Sahara region, including representatives from the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), visiting Washington, informed US public opinion, decision-makers and influencers of opinion about blatant violations of Human Rights in Tindouf camps and made an impassioned appeal to end the suffering of people detained by Polisario for decades.
