The declaration on the Moroccan Sahara by the President of Sao Tome and Principe took place during his address at the high-level segment of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
He said on this occasion that "The eternal issue of the Sahara continues to be a source of concern for us and requires greater involvement of all of us in the search for a permanent solution in this protracted negotiation process.
