"My delegation supports the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco as a solution of compromise. It is in conformity with international law, the Charter of the United Nations, the General Assembly and the resolutions of the Security Council. The Security Council has welcomed this initiative in successive resolutions since 2007", said the Ambassador, permanent representative of the Kingdom of Eswatini before the members of the Committee.
"The Kingdom of Eswatini seizes this opportunity to express its support for the ongoing political process, held under the exclusive auspices of the United Nations Secretary-General, which aims to achieve a mutually acceptable and negotiated political solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara", underlined the representative of Eswatini.
