The final communiqué of the Union's continental conference, recently held in Rabat, stated that the Union "renews its full support for Morocco's sovereignty and territorial integrity and supports the autonomy initiative as a realistic and credible solution under the auspices of the United Nations."
Furthermore, the African Union of Democratic Youth expressed its unwavering commitment to empowering youth politically and economically, defending democracy and freedoms, advocating for climate justice and digital transformation, and strengthening African solidarity and integration.
The Union affirmed the success of this pivotal organizational event, held under the theme "Democratizing Africa in the Age of Social Media and Artificial Intelligence - A Center-Right Youth Agenda," which brought together youth delegations from across the continent and provided an opportunity to renew leadership and expand the debate on critical issues of concern to the present and future of African youth.
The conference featured multilingual sessions and workshops on artificial intelligence, governance, elections, climate justice, and social justice, along with field visits and cultural activities that reinforced the unifying dimension and shared commitment of African youth.
