A Sahrawi association, on Monday, called for opening the Tindouf camps, southwestern Algeria, to NGOs and to all UN bodies, noting that it is "high time that Algeria took its responsibilities as a host country" of these camps. "It is high time to unveil the truth,” the Association of Moroccan Sahrawi tribes in Europe (ATSME) said in a communiqué, calling for “freeing the Moroccans sequestrated in the Lahmada camps by the polisario junta and its Algerian backers."

"Today, it is in the field of human rights that those rights abusers dare to flaunt themselves (...) by denigrating and taking out of context Morocco’s efforts to achieve democratic openness and respect for human rights,” ASTME underlined.

The only NGOs that can visit these camps of sequestration are those who fell for polisario's propaganda, the document went on.
