 Mauritania Reiterates its Support to UN Efforts  9/29/2022
Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Salem Ould Merzoug reiterated, Monday in New York, his country's "constant" position in support of the United Nations' efforts to reach a lasting solution accepted by all the parties to the regional dispute over Moroccan Sahara.

The Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, reaffirmed, during talks Wednesday in Tokyo with the Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, Japan's position of non-recognition of the separatist entity.

In response to the statement made Monday at the UN General Assembly by Algeria's Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra, in which he called on the UN and the SG's Personal Envoy for the Moroccan Sahara to resume the UN process, the Moroccan delegation called on Algeria to resume the round-table process.
  


 Zapatero Commends Spain's 'Courageous and Correct' Stance on Moroccan Sahara  9/27/2022
