Morocco Attached to Ceasefire, Reserves Right to React with "Severity"

Morocco reaffirmed its attachment to the ceasefire, while reserving the right to react with "the greatest severity" against any threat to its security, said Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad Nasser Bourita.

The Kingdom of Morocco and the Russian Federation reiterated on Thursday the need "for all parties" to the regional conflict over the Moroccan Sahara to respect the ceasefire and remain fully engaged in the political process, said a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad.

South African President and current President of the African Union (AU), Cyril Ramaphosa, on Sunday disavowed Polisario separatists, reaffirming the relevance of Decision 693 of the African Summit held in July 2018 in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
  


 Togo Supports Morocco's 'Right to Defend its Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity'  12/7/2020
The Government of the Republic of Togo expressed, on Friday, its support for "Morocco's right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity" through the restoration of the free movement of persons and goods in the El Guerguarat crossing linking the Kingdom to Mauritania.
