The operation carried out by the Royal Armed Forces on Friday morning, upon the Very High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff, in order to restore free movement at the El Guergarate crossing, took place in a "peaceful manner, without clashes or threat to the safety of civilians," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad.
