 Dakhla Becomes Permanent HQ of African Network of Francophonie Houses  7/16/2020
The city of Dakhla has been designated to house the headquarters of the African Network of Francophonie with Driss Guerraoui  appointed President, unanimously by the members of the Network’s Board of Directors.

The construction in progress of an expressway of more than 1000 km between Tiznit and Dakhla via Laâyoune, is “a titanic project with a notable strategic impact which will positively influence human, economic and cultural exchanges between the Kingdom of Morocco and countries like Mauritania, Senegal or Mali ”, wrote the Malijet information portal on Saturday.

Speaking as part of the citizen-run show "Sahara Debate", Mr. Shoji Matsumoto, Professor of international comparative law at the University of Sapporo in Japan, deconstructed, point by point, the allegations peddled by Algeria and the “polisario” on the so-called representativeness of the pseudo “sadr” and highlighted the conformity of the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative with the International Law, which is based on a “win-win” solution and opens up prospects for peace, security and cooperation in the Maghreb region.
