High participation in elections reflects the attachment of Sahrawis to Morocco

The participation rate in the elections, which reached 76 pc in the southern provinces in free and transparent elections, as attested by the international community, reflects Saharawi people's attachment to Morocco, said parliamentarian and member of the Royal Advisory Council  of Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Ahmed Lakhrif.
  


 Autonomy in Sahara, "Initiative in Right Direction", According to Papua New Guinea  10/5/2017
Papua New Guinea stressed, before the 4th Commission of the UN General Assembly, that the autonomy plan, presented by Morocco in 2007, constitutes an "initiative in the right direction"  to solve the conflict of the Moroccan Sahara.

 CELAC Reaffirms Support for Political Solution to Sahara Issue, Praises Autonomy Plan  10/4/2017
The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) reaffirmed, Monday before the UN 4th Committee, its firm support for efforts meant to achieve a mutually acceptable political solution to the issue of the Moroccan Sahara.
