The president of Guinea Mr. Alpha Condé, has reiterated full, firm and constant support of his country to the territorial integrity of Morocco and to the Moroccan autonomy in the southern provinces.

The chairman of the royal advisory council for Saharan affairs, Mr Khalihenna Ould Errachid , made a statement in an article published last Saturday by the Argentinean press agency “Télam” following a visit paid on the first of august to Rabat by a delegation of journalists from south America. He said that wide-spread anarchy in the Sahara and Sahel region is out of control which threatens Algerians themselves.

The UN do not intend to modify its mediation in the Sahara 8/27/2012
The UN SG Ban KI-Moon made it clear on Saturday to the king of Morocco Mohammed VI that the UN will maintain the same terms of mediation in the Sahara, according to a statement made by The UN, in order to progress the negotiation process, and to work hard to improve the Moroccan Algerian relations, win conformity with the UN resolutions

Moroccan policy towards the Sahara affair is “good and realistic“ (according to an American senator) 8/23/2012
The American senator, Joseph Lieberman, has qualified the Moroccan proposal of autonomy as ‘serious and credible” expressing his wish that this initiative progresses in the near future “I have reiterated my constant position that the Moroccan policy regarding the Sahara affair leading to the autonomy is “good and realistic” asserted the senator who was expressing himself on Wednesday in Rabat, following his talks with the foreign affairs and cooperation minister Mr. Saad El Otmani.
