 The UN Envoy, Christopher Ross went beyond the scope of his mission, accusing Morocco to spy on MINURSO "the (UN) Secretary General perfectly understands that the negotiation process cannot continue under the auspices of Christopher Ross since Morocco is no longer willing to deal with him", said, Samir Bennis, UN political Adviser and expert on the Sahara issue, in an interview published by the Hespress website.

Morocco's decision to withdraw confidence in Christopher Ross, personal envoy of UN Secretary General for the Sahara, does not mean any transgression of the spirit of the Security Council resolutions or a waiver form whatsoever, said Thursday in Rabat, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Saad El Dine Otmani.

Morocco will continue to cooperate with the Secretary General of the UN and MINURSO for a solution to the Sahara issue, after withdrawing its confidence in Christopher Ross, said Monday the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and cooperation, Youssef Amrani.
