The Algerian government let worst case policy flourish in Tindouf camps
 
"Polisario", convinced of collusion and complicity with the terrorist group Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), as evidenced by the kidnapping of Western citizens in the heart of Tindouf, turned into "back up "of the war declared by AQIM and the "Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (Mujao).
  


 US reiterate support for autonomy project "potential approach to satisfy the aspirations" of Sahrawis  10/19/2012
Washington reaffirmed in the joint statement of the first Strategic Dialogue between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States of America, its support to the Moroccan autonomy initiative for the Sahara, which is "a potential approach likely to meet the aspirations of the people in the Sahara."

Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, received Wednesday, October 17, 2012, a Kenyan parliamentary delegation led by the Vice President of the House of Deputies Mr. Farah Maalim, which is visiting Morocco October 14-19, 2012.

The chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, received Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at the Council headquarters in Rabat, a Peruvian parliamentary delegation, headed by Mr. Rolando Flores Reategui, President of the Moroccan-Peruvian Friendship Group, which is paying a visit to Morocco October 14-19, 2012.
  


 Two Corcas members among petitioners on the Sahara before the 4th UN Committee   10/12/2012
Mrs. Saadani Maouelainin and Mr. Ahmed Lakhrif, members of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs made two presentations on the Sahara issue before the UN Fourth Committee, which began its works on October 8 on the sidelines of the 67th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
