 Strong speeches to support the national cause and autonomy proposal before the UN Fourth Committee in New York   10/7/2011

Speeches of petitioners and representatives of states, politicians, parliamentarians and representatives of civil society around the world, continue before the Fourth United Nations commission which began its work Monday in New York.

The delegation of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs represented by Mrs Zahra Al Shakaf and Mrs Maskoula Baamar before the Fourth Committee of the United Nations in New York made two speeches on the status of Sahrawi women in the Kingdom of Morocco, where they have rights and benefits, the issue of humanitarian aid embezzlement in the Tindouf camps as well as the kingdom's efforts to settle the artificial dispute over the Sahara.

The international expert on terrorism and organized crime, Jose Maria Gil Garre called on Tuesday, the UN not to ignore the Sahara issue, accusing the Polisario "to keep on the conflict to continue existing, while the leaders of this group have become millionaires. "

  


 African countries renew their support to the autonomy of the Sahara under the Moroccan sovereignty before the 4th UN commission  10/4/2011

Three African countries, Senegal, Ivory coast, and Comores have renewed Monday before the 4th commission of the UN general assembly their support of the Moroccan autonomy initiative, as a basis for a lasting solution of the issue, therefore Senegal “would like to express one more time its support to the Moroccan initiative aiming at granting a substantial autonomy “to the Sahara” within the respect of the sovereignty” of Morocco asserted the Senegalese ambassador to the UN Abdou salam Diallo.

Life is back to normal at Dakhla and the populations condemn ‘the” hooliganism”

Morocco is exploring all possibilities concerning the incidents which took place last week in Dakhla , and continues its enquiry «  with diligence and serenity » asserted the communication minister Khalid Naciri.
