 Parties to Sahara issue to meet on June 5 in Manhasset (UN)  5/27/2011

The 7th round of informal talks on the Sahara will be held from 5 to 7 June in Manhasset in the suburbs of New York. The UN spokesman Martin Nesirky, who announced the meeting on Thursday at the invitation of the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General, Christopher Ross, said that Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania and Polisario will attend the meeting.

  


 Non-Aligned Summit: Algeria invited to get engaged seriously to facilitate political solution to Sahara dispute  5/26/2011

The Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mrs. Latifa Akharbach, called on Algeria on Wednesday, during her speech at the opening session of the ministerial summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, to get engaged in negotiations on the Sahara to reach a political solution to the Sahara.
