 Representatives of France and US to the Security Council underline credibility of Moroccan autonomy initiative  5/4/2010

The last resolution adopted by the Security Council raised, in addition to the Moroccan reaction, reactions of key members of the UN body, who reaffirmed the credibility and seriousness of the Moroccan autonomy initiative, underscored by Resolution 1920 making it a solid basis for negotiation for a political solution to Sahara issue.

Morocco welcomes with satisfaction UNSC latest resolution on Sahara that recognizes the preeminence of the Moroccan autonomy initiative

The UN Security Council decided on Friday to extend for one year the mandate of the MINURSO, reiterating its call on parties to "show further political will" and continue negotiations to reach a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution to the Sahara issue.

Several U.S. congressmen urged on Thursday the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon to strengthen the negotiations process on the basis of the Moroccan autonomy initiative in the Sahara qualified by the Security Council as "serious" and "credible".

 European Anti-Fraud organization underlines embezzlement of EU humanitarian aid in Tindouf camps  4/28/2010

A recent report of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) revealed the mechanisms of embezzlement of humanitarian assistance meant for the Sahrawi population sequestered in the Tindouf Camps, southwestern Algeria, said on Monday the Brussels-based the European Strategic Intelligence and Security Center (ESISC).
