 Guinea-Bissau withdraws recognition of so-called 'SADR' and supports autonomy  3/31/2010

The Republic of Guinea-Bissau decided on Tuesday to withdraw its recognition of the so-called 'SADR'. The announcement was made in Rabat by Guinea-Bissau's State minister and Presidential advisor, El Haj  Dahaba, following a meeting with Morocco's Foreign minister, Taib Fassi Fihri.

  


 Morocco's autonomy plan 'reasonable' solution, US Senator Dianne Feinstein  3/30/2010

 US Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman, Dianne Feinstein, described as "reasonable" Morocco's autonomy plan for the Sahara, under the Kingdom's sovereignty, US paper "The Hill" reported on Friday.

  


 Fifteen youngsters flee Tindouf camps to join homeland  3/29/2010

A group of Fifteen youngsters, including five women and five children, joined on Sunday their homeland, Morocco, after they managed to flee the torture inflicted in the camps of Tindouf (southwestern Algeria).

Moroccan foreign minister said Morocco, which is committed to building the Arab Maghreb Union and to Maghreb integration, is determined to reach a consensual settlement of the Sahara issue, within the framework of the autonomy Initiative put forward by the Kingdom.

  


 33 youngsters fled Tindouf camps to join homeland  3/26/2010

Some 33 young people have lately escaped from Tindouf camps (south western Algeria) to join Morocco, their homeland.
