The 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly adopted, on Monday, a draft resolution supporting the process of negotiations over the Sahara and "calling upon all the parties and the States of the region to cooperate fully with the Secretary-General and his Personal Envoy and with each other."

According to "Ashark Al Aswat" in its issue dated on Thursday that the leader of “Khat Ashahid” a movement opposed to Polisario Front said in a statement that the release of Ould Sidi Mouloud is "a scandal and a political defeat for the leadership of the Polisario, and a victory for Ould Mouloud, and for what he is calling for ." Mahjoub Salek did not rule out the fact that the Front can put "a lot of obstacles if he remains inside the camps" or " organizes his assassination."

The Spanish press reacted on the release by Polisario of the release of Mr. Mustapha Salma Ould Sidi Mouloud, that the Front had arrested last Sept. 21 on his way back to the Tindouf camps to defend the Moroccan initiative granting autonomy to the Sahara region as a final solution to this issue.
