Morocco's stance on the Sahara issue has been boosted by the increasing international support for the Kingdom's autonomy proposal, said Sudanese paper "Al Rai Al'am".

Morocco said, on Saturday, it is deeply satisfied with the adoption, on April 30, by the United Nation's Security Council, of resolution 1871 on the Moroccan Sahara issue.

UN Security Council reaffirmed Thursday its call on the parties to continue negotiations on the Sahara "without preconditions and in good faith" and to show "realism and a spirit of compromise" to achieve progress.
