 Morocco's autonomy proposal stems from concern to keep the family united, Guinean Minister  12/2/2008

Guinean Foreign Minister, Amadou Lamarana Bah, said, here Monday, that Morocco's autonomy proposal to solve the Sahara issue stems from its concern to keep the family united, stressing the need "to avoid any disintegration" in the region. "Guinea has a clear cut position... We believe that the Sahara belongs and is part of the Kingdom of Morocco," Lamarana Bah said in a statement to the press, following a meeting with Moroccan Foreign Minister, Taib Fassi Fihri.

  


 The Comoros Islands reiterates support for Morocco's territorial integrity  12/1/2008

   During two separate meetings with Moroccan Premier, Abbas El Fassi in Qatar, on the sidelines of the Doha International Conference on Financing for Development, the two countries' presidents hailed Morocco's Sahara initiative to grant substantial autonomy to its southern provinces. The President of the Comoros Islands, Ahmed Abdellah Mohamed Sambi said the Sahara has been and will always be Moroccan.

 AJU supports Morocco's territorial integrity  11/28/2008

The Arab Journalists Union (AJU) expressed, here Thursday, its "support for Morocco's territorial integrity against separatist threat", calling on Morocco and Algeria to fully normalize relations to devote efforts to the national causes of the Arab world. In a press release published at the end of the Union's 11th meeting (24-27 November) on " freedom for the press: protection of the journalist", the AJU also voiced support for the negotiation process

  


 Denmark confirms absence of polisario representation in Copenhagen  11/28/2008

The kingdom of Morocco is pleased about the confirmation by Denmark of the absence of a representation of the "polisario" in the country, the spokesman for the Moroccan Foreign ministry announced on Thursday.
