Algeria commits a serious error by its attitude vis-à-vis the Sahara issue, said President of the Belgian Senate, Mr. Armand De Decker. "It is sad to notice that because of the attitude of the Algerian government" the Sahara issue still does not know a way-out, he said Friday during a meeting with journalists. It is also a pity to see that "Morocco has not taken its rightful and legitimate place within the African Union because of this issue," he added, describing the situation as "unacceptable".

The minister of State for Europe in the German ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gunter Gloser, hailed, here Wednesday, the "excellence of relations" between Morocco and Germany. In a statement to MAP following a meeting with the Moroccan Secretary of State in charge of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Latifa Akharbach, the German official underlined that his country éfollows with much interest and satisfaction the progress of reforms undertaken in Morocco.
