Canary Forum refutes allegations of rights violations in the Sahara region 6/12/2008
"Canary-Saharan ", Forum an association of citizens of the Sahara and the Canary Islands, denied on Wednesday allegations of "incidents" and "violations" of human rights in the provinces of southern Morocco . The Forum, based in Las Palmas, was made public on May 13, a press release in which it expressed its "firm condemnation of non-respect of human rights" and "repression" perpetrated against demonstrations in cities in South Provinces. The "Canary-Saharan" Forum asserts, however, in a press release received Wednesday by MAP-Las Palmas, after a visit last week by a delegation of the Forum in Laayoune to inquire "in situ" about the situation and examine these "facts", the latter discovered that they were only allegations.

The Moroccan autonomy proposal for the Sahara is "immensely generous" and is "the best possible decision", said on Thursday in Rabat, the Chairman of the Professional Chamber of mediation and Negotiation (CPMN - France), M .
