Senegal Welcomes Historic Adoption by Security Council of Resolution 2797 Enshrining Preeminence of Autonomy Plan Within Moroccan Sovereignty

The Republic of Senegal has welcomed the historic adoption on October 31, 2025 by United Nations Security Council of Resolution 2797 which enshrines, within the framework of Moroccan sovereignty, the preeminence of the autonomy plan proposed by the Kingdom as the only basis for serious, credible and sustainable to reaching a political solution to the artificial conflict on the Sahara.
