During the plenary session of the provincial council of Valencia on Tuesday, where the adoptive family of this young girl lives . The president of this provincial institute, Alfonso  Rus has read an agreed manifesto of all political parties represented in the council , which condemns “ the retention against her will” of the young  Mahjouba , who is 23 years old. And lived with her adoptive family in the municipality of  Genovese in   Valencia .

The manifesto has equally called the competent authorities “in diplomacy and government” to undertake” all necessary effort for the liberation of the young girl and her return to Spain “indicated a statement made by the provincial council.

 The provincial council of Valencia , has emphasized in this document on  “ respect of  the declaration of Human Rights , which states in its article the right of movement freely , and the choice of residence in  the territory of the state”  so  that  Mahjouba  “ could enjoy freedom of decision” where she can live, added the  same source .

It is worth mentioning that the provincial council of  Valencia  has decided to  suspend all conventions  and  aids destined to the Polisario until the liberation of the young Sahraouie is implemented .

 The young Mahjouba who works for   “Marie Curie Fondation Care” in London ,  and who  is  planning to carry on her higher  education in London,  went to Tindouf last summer to visit her Genetic parents . Her passport and her money were taken from her , in order to stop her from going back to Europe .

Friends and family of Mahjouba have  launched a petition in the internet called”  Free Mahyuba” which have  collected  4000 signatures in order to be handed over to the  Spanish Foreign affairs  ministry with the aim to get out this ordeal .

According to the platform ; Mahjouba lives against her will in a room , under   non stop  monitoring , she also has received death threats in case she tries to run away

This affair which  shakes the Spanish society  was taken in charge by the Spanish ministry of foreign affairs  and submitted to the   special  UN rapporteur of  violence against Women .
