The Moroccan people proudly celebrate this Monday, November 6, the 48th anniversary of the Green March, an epic event marked having strongly contributed to the completion of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.

With the commitment of more than a hundred States in favor of the Moroccan autonomy initiative, the anniversary of the green march is marked this year by the acceleration of the immense momentum of support more and more broad which surrounds the national cause thanks to the successive diplomatic successes by Morocco.
The process of opening consulates in the two cities of Laâyoune and Dakhla has also continued to accelerate.

The resolutions of the Security Council, in particular 2703 adopted a few days ago as well as the various international and regional bodies unanimously reaffirm that the Moroccan autonomy initiative is the final solution to the artificial conflict around the Moroccan Sahara.

A momentum which can be explained by the fact that Morocco better defends its just cause and by the definitive demonstration of the sterility and injustice of the separatist thesis which no longer deceives anyone.

The current dynamic is the worthy fruit launched by the late HM Hassan II, 48 years ago, and which allowed a human tide, coming from different regions of the country, to move peacefully and in an organized manner, towards the south of the Kingdom to cross the chimerical borders and proudly hoist the national flag in the sky of this territory which has always been an integral part of Morocco.

This remarkable event inscribed in golden letters in the History of Morocco has become a symbol for an entire Nation and reflects the aspiration of an entire country for sustainable, global and harmonious development.

This March continues today under the reign of HM King Mohammed VI through a series of large-scale projects that have marked a real economic and social transformation in the southern provinces.

Equipped with a new model of economic development, the Sahara region is in the process of establishing itself as an economic center ensuring the connection between Morocco and its African extension.
