Sahrawi victims of torture, illegal detention and violations of human rights in the Tindouf camps in south-western Algeria, have decided to pursue before Spanish courts Polisario leaders and senior officers of the Algerian army, announced lawyers for victims Wednesday in Madrid.

The Colombian House of Representatives reaffirms its support to autonomy plan 12/6/2007
The President of the Colombian House of Representatives, Mr. Oscar Arboleda reaffirmed the strong support of this institution to the Moroccan initiative for autonomy in the Sahara and its support to Morocco's efforts aimed at achieving a political and final solution to the Sahara issue.

Sarkozy reaffirms to Algiers French position about the Sahara 12/4/2007
The French president Nicolas Sarkozy reaffirmed on Monday to the Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the French position concerning the Sahara pointed out a diplomatic French source. During the talks between the two heads of states which took place during the first day of the state visit of president Sarkozy, the same diplomatic source specified that the question of Sahara was mentioned, and that the position of France has not changed.

In accordance with instructions by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God be with him, and in keeping with the provisions of the Dahir on the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), the Council’s President hereby advises that the CORCAS second regular session for 2007 will be held on 7-8 Dhul Hijja 1428H (17-18 December 2007) in the city of Smara on the theme: “Autonomy as a final solution to achieve reconciliation and dignified return to the homeland”
