 Sahara issue requires 'much realism and compromise' to reach solution  7/3/2007
"We want to tell the Polisario that the Sahara issue requires much realism and compromise to reach a satisfactory solution for all the parties involved and which is, by the way, a form of self-determination," said Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council on Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Khalli Henna Ould Errachid.

 Senior delegation to represent Morocco in talks with Polisario separatists in New York  6/15/2007
A delegation of high-ranking officials, will represent Morocco in talks with the Polisario separatists (June 18-19 in New York) in implementation of a recent United Nations resolution calling for "negotiations without preconditions" between the two parties to solve the three-decade-old Sahara dispute.
