Hungary reiterates support for Morocco's autonomy project 3/24/2009
Hungary reiterated support for Morocco's project to grant substantial autonomy to its southern provinces, known as the Sahara. This came in a meeting between Hungarian Foreign Minister, Kinga Goncz, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mustapha El Mansouri who is leading a parliamentary delegation on a visit to Hungary, a press release of the House or Representatives said.

Morocco's autonomy proposal 'deserves to be discussed seriously', French FM 3/23/2009
French Foreign Minister, Bernard Kouchner, said Morocco's proposal to grant autonomy to its southern provinces, the Sahara, "deserves to be discussed seriously," adding that the option of a referendum "has not worked so far."Kouchner said, in an interview published in the latest issue of the international weekly "Jeune Afrique," that France, like the Security Council deems "interesting" the Moroccan proposal.
