President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Belgium Vincent Blondel reaffirmed on Friday in Istanbul his country’s clear and unwavering support for the autonomy initiative under Moroccan sovereignty, deeming it "the most appropriate, serious, credible, and realistic basis" for reaching a just, lasting, and mutually acceptable political solution to the regional dispute over the Sahara.
  


 Ecuador Considers Autonomy Under Moroccan Sovereignty Most Feasible Solution to Ending This Regional Dispute  4/20/2026
The Republic of Ecuador reaffirmed on Friday its support for the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco in 2007, describing it as the only serious, credible, and realistic resolution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.
  


 Kallas: EU Supports Autonomy Plan under Moroccan Sovereignty   4/17/2026
The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, affirmed, on Thursday in Rabat, the new European position on the Moroccan Sahara, considering that "genuine autonomy could represent a most feasible outcome" for a final resolution to the regional dispute.
