 Resolution 2797 Codifies Autonomy Solution as Sole Basis for Resolving Moroccan Sahara Issue under the Kingdom’s Sovereignty - Ambassador  12/9/2025
Security Council Resolution 2797, adopted on October 31, 2025, codified the autonomy solution proposed by Morocco as the sole and unique basis for negotiations to resolve the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, within the framework of the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity, said on Friday in Vienna, Morocco's Permanent Representative to the UN Office and International Organizations in Vienna, Azzeddine Farhane.

His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mustafa Mansouri, praised the clear positions in support of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco, as expressed in the final communiqué of the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, held on Wednesday in Manama.
  


 The Netherlands Affirms Autonomy under Moroccan Sovereignty Most Feasible Solution to Sahara Dispute  12/8/2025
As part of the international momentum created under the impetus of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, in support of Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara and the Autonomy Plan, the Netherlands affirmed that “genuine autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty is the most feasible solution to definitely put an end to the regional dispute.”
  


 GCC Supreme Council Reaffirms Morocco's Sovereignty over Sahara Welcomes UNSC Resolution 2797  12/5/2025
In a statement adopted following the 13th High-Level Meeting, held on Thursday in Madrid, Spain praised the United Nations Security Council resolution 2797, adopted on October 31, 2025, which emphasizes that genuine autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty is the most feasible solution to resolve the Moroccan Sahara issue.

The Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States (GCC) reaffirmed on Wednesday in Manama Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara and its support for the Autonomy Initiative to resolve the issue of the Moroccan Sahara.
