The Mauritanian Democratic Socialist Party (PDS) has denounced with "firmness and force" attempts by Polisario and Algeria to lead the region into an impasse and confrontation.In a statement released Monday, the PDS has reiterated its support for the royal decision on the autonomy plan for the southern provinces, as the only solution to the Sahara conflict. 


In this context, the PDS was deeply concerned following the incursion of 1400 in members of Spanish NGOs and Polisario in the Mahbès Region, causing the explosion of a mine that had made two injuries among young people, one has been amputated a leg and the other lost his sight.

Mauritanian Party has also warned against the risks of instability in the region following violations of the principles of peace and stability.

The Mauritanian political group warned against the risk of conflagration in the region of the Maghreb, where Polisario Front, supported by Algeria, continues to violate the cease-fire.
