A group of 13 youngsters, including two women, fled the camps of Tindouf, southwestern Algeria to join their motherland, Morocco. The returnees, aged between 22 and 29, recounted the inhumane life conditions they endured under the grip of the polisario, along with their fellow Sahrawis who found themselves sequestered in the camps.

They called the Sahrawis detained in the camps not to lose hope and continue their struggle to join their homeland.

Last Sunday, another group of 15 Sahrawis escaped the Tindouf camps to return to Morocco.
