A group of 51 Sahrawis, including 19 women and 14 children, fled oppression in the Polisario-run Tindouf camps to join, on Sunday, their homeland, Morocco.

The returnees told the press that they are pleased to join their families in Morocco's southern provinces, the Sahara, urging an end to the blockade imposed on the population held against their will in the notorious Tindouf camps.

The return of this group brings to 554 the people who joined Morocco escaping torture in the Tindouf camps since March 25.
